Trial and purchase
CadenceOne is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store, with a free trial first. No subscription, no account.
The free trial
- The trial lasts 14 days from the first launch, with every feature available.
- It is counted per Mac. Deleting and reinstalling the app does not start a new trial.
- Settings ▸ General ▸ Licence shows how many days are left.
When the trial ends
A screen covers the app. It sums up what you wrote during the trial, and offers three choices:
- Unlock for good, with the price in your currency.
- Restore purchase, if you already bought CadenceOne with this Apple ID.
- Export everything, which opens the Backup window.
Your data is not deleted. It stays on your Mac, and you can export it whether you buy or not. See Backup and export.
Buying
You can buy at any time, including during the trial, from Settings ▸ General ▸ Licence. Once bought, the Licence row says Unlocked. Thank you.
The purchase:
- is paid once,
- covers all your Macs signed in with the same Apple ID,
- includes every 1.x update,
- is handled entirely by the App Store. CadenceOne never sees your payment details.
With Family Sharing, a purchase that needs a parent's approval (Ask to Buy) unlocks the app once it is approved.
Restoring a purchase
On a new Mac, or after reinstalling, click Restore purchase in Settings ▸ General ▸ Licence or on the end-of-trial screen. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you bought with.
If the App Store cannot be reached, CadenceOne shows an error under the button. Check your connection and try again.
Refunds
Refunds for Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. See also our Terms of Sale.
