Today and This week

Today answers "what needs me now?". This week answers "am I ready for the conversations ahead?". Both are built from what you have already recorded; there is nothing to fill in here.

Today

The banner

The dark banner shows the date and week number, a greeting, and a one-line summary: how many 1-to-1s you have today, and how many promises are overdue.

Up to three tiles appear below it, each one only when there is something to show:

  • Prep score: the average readiness of all your upcoming 1-to-1s, out of 100. See The prep score.
  • Team pulse: six bars for the last six weeks, one per week. The height is your team's average mood. A week without any recorded mood shows as a small dot.
  • Longest silence: the person you have gone longest without meeting, with the number of days or Never met.

If you have not entered your name yet, a strip at the top invites you to do it in Settings.

The week strip

Seven day columns for the current week. The week starts on Monday unless you change it in Settings.

  • Each 1-to-1 appears as a card with the person, the time and the first topics on the agenda.
  • The badge reads Ready when the prep score is 100, Needs prep otherwise, and Done once the meeting is completed.
  • A red flag means that person has an overdue promise.
  • Click a card to open its preparation.
  • On a free day, the + menu lets you pick a team member and prepare a 1-to-1 on that day.

Team pulse

A private grid of the last ten weeks, one row per team member.

  • Each cell takes the colour of the mood you recorded in that week's completed 1-to-1: Great, Good, Neutral, Tense or Tough. An empty outline means no mood for that week.
  • The arrow compares the older half of the period with the more recent half: Improving, Slipping or Steady. It needs at least three weeks with a recorded mood.
  • The held/weeks figure, for example 3/10, counts the 1-to-1s actually held in the period.

The grid appears once at least one person has a mood recorded in three different weeks. Mood is set in meeting mode and is never shared.

Under the grid, Topics that keep sliding lists agenda topics that were deferred at least twice, across the whole team. These are the conversations that keep getting pushed back.

Broken promises

Every overdue promise, whoever owes it, oldest first.

  • Click the circle to mark a promise done.
  • Move to the next 1-to-1 gives each overdue promise a new due date: the date of that person's next scheduled 1-to-1. Promises with no person, or whose person has nothing scheduled, stay as they are, and the app tells you how many were left.

When nothing is overdue, the card shows how many promises were kept this quarter.

This week

The header

The header shows how many conversations are still ahead this week, and three counters:

  • Topics queued: agenda topics on this week's 1-to-1s.
  • Promises overdue: all overdue promises, in red when there are any.
  • Ready: this week's 1-to-1s with a prep score of 100.

Switch between By person and By day on the right. The app remembers your choice.

By person

One column per team member, the soonest 1-to-1 first. Each column is a one-glance briefing:

  • Agenda: the topics of their next 1-to-1. A or badge marks a topic that has already been deferred that many times.
  • Open promises: everything still open between you, with its due date. Overdue dates are red.
  • Goal in flight: a development goal with the status In progress, and its milestones.
  • Last decision: the most recent decision recorded with them.
  • Since last time: days since your last completed 1-to-1.
  • Worth saying out loud: their most recent achievement, a good opener.

The footer shows their mood over the last weeks and a Prepare button.

By day

The same week strip as on Today, taller, with every agenda topic visible on each card.
